Paragon is a General Partner under the Paragon-Apex JV (AdaptiveStack Managing Partner) on the GSA Polaris HUBZone vehicle. This pool supports underserved geographic areas by enabling local firms to deliver IT modernization and systems engineering solutions.
Polaris is GSA’s dedicated IT services GWAC designed for small business pools. Unlike legacy contracts that straddle both professional services and IT, Polaris is narrowly focused on technology and offers a future-friendly construct: “anything IT, everywhere.” The vehicle supports evolving task orders that incorporate cloud adoption, AI, edge computing, immersive tech, advanced analytics, cybersecurity, and systems modernization. Polaris allows use of multiple contract types—fixed price, time & materials, cost—with flexibility to include ancillary hardware or software when integral to the IT solution.
Under Polaris, agencies can order services such as cloud migration and architecture, software and application development, integration, data engineering & analytics, cybersecurity operations, IT operations & maintenance, infrastructure engineering, automation and AI/ML, user experience and interface design, and emerging technology pilots. Because the vehicle is technology-centric, it encourages contractors to stay current with next-gen tools while delivering integrated solutions that cross traditional IT silos. The vehicle’s design lets agencies evolve solutions over time and fosters innovation without having to re-compete across totally different contracts.
